Multiple accounts to verify my identity for

You can only verify your identity for one account. If you have more than one login.gov account, you can combine them by deleting one account and then adding that email address to the other. Before you do this, remember that you will have to relink any government applications that were connected to the account(s) you are deleting. Also, you can only add a maximum of ten email addresses to a single login.gov account.

Delete an account

  1. Go to https://secure.login.gov/
  2. Sign in with your email, password, and authentication method
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the “Your account” page to the “Account management” section, and click on “Delete”
  4. Follow the steps to delete your account

Add an email address to your account

  1. Go to https://secure.login.gov/
  2. Sign in with your email, password, and authentication method
  3. On the “Your account” page, go to the “login information” section and click on “Add email”
  4. Follow the steps to add and confirm your email address
